Series P5 aluminum profiles are generally based on 20mm core dimensions, with a 5mm slot that allows a maximum slot nut thread of M5, these aluminum extrusions are used for small, light precision applications such as sensor supports, 3D printer, CNC machine and robotic linear motion. The system has it’s own range of\u00a0 ancillary\u00a0 parts\u00a0 such\u00a0 as\u00a0 hinges,\u00a0 handles,\u00a0 slot\u00a0 nuts\u00a0 and\u00a0 connectors.\u00a0 Because\u00a0 the\u00a0 aluminum\u00a0 profile\u00a0 slot\u00a0 is\u00a0 5mm,\u00a0 the\u00a0 maximum\u00a0 thread\u00a0 size\u00a0 you\u00a0 can\u00a0 use\u00a0 with\u00a0 this\u00a0 aluminum\u00a0 profile\u00a0 system\u00a0 is\u00a0 M5,\u00a0 therefore\u00a0 it\u00a0 is\u00a0 not\u00a0 suitable for heavy duty applications.<\/p>\n

This product is the extrusion itself. Made of aluminum, its exactly 20x20mm square and has slots on all four sides. You can use T-nuts that slide into the slots to connect plates, coupler, PCBs, cutouts, etc. This 20mm extrusion for being just large enough for sturdy DIY projects and robots liner motion, but not too clunky and heavy.<\/p>\n
