Description
Series P5 aluminum profiles are generally based on 20mm core dimensions, with a 5mm slot that allows a maximum slot nut thread of M5, these aluminum extrusions are used for small, light precision applications such as sensor supports, 3D printer, CNC machine and robotic linear motion. The system has it’s own range of ancillary parts such as hinges, handles, slot nuts and connectors. Because the aluminum profile slot is 5mm, the maximum thread size you can use with this aluminum profile system is M5, therefore it is not suitable for heavy duty applications.
This product is the extrusion itself. Made of aluminum, its exactly 20x20mm square and has slots on all four sides. You can use T-nuts that slide into the slots to connect plates, coupler, PCBs, cutouts, etc. This 20mm extrusion for being just large enough for sturdy DIY projects and robots liner motion, but not too clunky and heavy.
