Description
Polycarbonate is also known by the abbreviation PC and is a transparent amorphous engineering thermoplastic. Amorphous is the term given to plastics that gradually soften rather than go from a solid to a liquid when heated. Polycarbonate is very tough with excellent impact resistance but also lightweight, very pliable and can be moulded and formed at room temperature without cracking or breaking.
